dc.description.abstractWe construct conservation laws for the (2 + 1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation. Thereafter, we employ the definition of the association of symmetries with conservation laws to obtain exact solutions for the (2 + 1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation via the generalized double reduction theorem.
