dc.description.abstractRemote calibration of instrument transformers seems possible if sufficient certainty in field measurements can be achieved. This opportunity, until now, was only investigated from a theoretical point of view and in this paper, is now further investigated by using real-life synchrophasors. A transmission line is emulated, and voltage and current synchrophasors collected across the transmission line by two different synchrophasor recorders to derive a ratio correction factor for the remote instrument transformersen_US
