This work deals with the study of the flow of a Jeffrey’s fluid past a vertical porous plate in the presence of thermal radiation and chemical reaction. A similarity transformation is used to transform the partial differential equations governing the flow to a system of coupled linear partial differential equations which are then solved using the bivariate spectral quasilinearization method. The effects of the non-dimensional parameters, namely the Prandtl number, Deborah number, radiation parameter, Schmidt number, chemical reaction parameter and the ratio of relaxation to retardation times on the fluid velocity, temperature and concentration are investigated. Also investigated is the influence of some of the mentioned parameters on the local skin friction, heat transfer rate and mass transfer rateen_US
